Our Mission

The Kingdom School of Excellence Microschool exists to create a learning environment where students with learning differences are supported through personalized academic pathways and rooted in faith. We are committed to helping each child grow in confidence, purpose, and a love for learning while honoring their God-given potential.

Meet our Founder - Ashley M. Smith

For 17 years, I’ve served the metro Atlanta community as a general education teacher, special education inclusion specialist, and MTSS Specialist. After nearly two decades in the public system, I realized that "standardized" education often misses the individual brilliance of every child. I founded The Kingdom School of Excellence to change that—creating a space where students with learning differences are no longer defined by labels, but by their unique God-given potential.

Equipped with my Bachelor’s in Early Childhood and Special Education and a Master’s in Urban Teacher Leadership from Georgia State University, I focus on building personalized academic pathways rooted in faith. I live in Duluth with my husband and two children, and I am deeply committed to helping our local families rediscover their children's love for learning through an environment that honors both their identity in Christ and their individual academic journey.
